Q&A with Pat Mok: Account Manager

When did you start working at Satori? – I started working for Satori in August 2012.  I joined Satori after working in retail.  I was new to working for a B2B organisation, however I learned quickly

Gavin Steinberg, Pat Mok, Troy Nicholson and David Edelman. Pat was presented with an award for 6 years of service at the Satori 2018 conference.

What did you initially do at Satori? – I started out doing cold calls. My initial focus was contacting CFO’s to organise meetings to discuss Envisage forecasting and budgeting solution.  It was incredible challenging as CFO’s don’t like taking cold calls trying to sell them solutions!

So what do you actually do at Satori? – I’m an Account Manager, looking after accounts based in NSW and Queensland.   My main role is to ensure my customers are using our solutions successfully and then finding opportunities to expand our solutions to other areas within their business.  I look to do that successfully through building relationships.

What is the best thing about working at Satori? – Watching our company grow has been amazing. We’ve more than doubled in size since I’ve been here, and we’ve got successful, eager and capable people who continue to help us succeed.

What would your customers say about you? – I’m incredibly persistent!

What do you do in your spare time? – Netflix, poker and baseball.  I also joined a gym recently, first time in 15 years!
